This case checked off all the things I was looking for. Very lightweight, well constructed, everything works smoothly -- the clasp on this one clicks shut confidently and the bow spinners snap in place perfectly. Plenty of room for my Yehudi Menuhin style shoulder rest, tuner, stand light, rosin, etc. The back straps work well. It 4 fits bows well (I wonder if the other reviewed was trying to fit a viola bow). The upper bout fits rather snugly, so take your time getting used to this. The case balances well when you carry it, and the handle feels substantial . The sides and edges are contoured so it doesn't catch on things when you slide in and out (of the car, for example).I tacked the instrument blanket in with a few stitches (see picture) like they do with other cases, but other than that , I wouldn't change a thing. Super value for the money. Maybe someday they will make one for my viola.
