item works great. installation was really fairly easy.you have to remove the front drive shaft but thats not to hard. (I have a 99 2500 silverado)it takes an hour or less. but as soon as I had it installed and the battery plugged back in my 4x4 service light went off and it works great!you can hear the transfer case shifting.totally happy I havent been able to use it for more than a year so I am totaly pleased totally recommend this product!
