Purchased to have a "bullet-proof" briefcase since I trust Pelican completely. Not any more.The closure hinges do not swing out easily and require the owner to push on the case to flex it so they release. That is plain stupid.Worse, if they get stuck it is a major pain to pry them open. I have had to stand on the case to get it open!In addition, the handle broke off the first case. I went through the laborious process to "destroy in the field" for a FREE replacement from Pelican.However, this second case soon broke in the handle area and so it is in the trash. I am out over $100 for nothing except total frustration. I do not want a replacement case. I susggest that you run away fast and far from this horrible product that needs to be re-engineered.
